DRONE CAMERAS START WORKING ON LAHORE MULTAN MOTORWAY

National Highway and Motorway Police have started using drone cameras on motorways. In a first attempt the cameras have started working on Lahore- Multan Motorway. The cameras are being used not only to check traffic violations but also work for surveillance and crime control.The use of technology will enable the law enforcement agencies to monitor round the clock flow of traffic on the roads.The newly introduced technology will help a great deal not only in ensuring smooth functioning of traffic on the roads but also in maintaining law and order situation in the cities.

The national highway and Motorway police is working on a five year visionary plan to introduce the most modern techniques of safety and surveillance to bring the quality of its services at part  with developed nations .The drones and cameras will help the police in controlling the speed of the vehicles, making them follow rules and regulations and ensuring safety and surveillance.

The traffic police is also planning to introduce a sound system of speed limits for different categories of  vehicles.Similarly there is another idea of checking whether the vehicle moving on the motorway is mechanically fit .The technology will assist in monitoring such issues  smoothly and effectively.the implementation of technology will help in reducing the number of accidents.The use of dronse will enable the police to monitor the traffic violations upto three kilometers.It will also help in locating the people in  need of assistance and the ones in difficulty.

The use of drones and cameras on national highways and motorways will also benefit the department in generating more revenues and minimize costs.The quality of services will also improve and a lot of precious time will be saved.The smooth flow of traffic according to rules and regulations will reduce the number of road accidents and  cause least damage to the roads .Few accidents and emergencies on the roads will ensure more protection to the lives and property of the masses.
