Dubai Expo 2022, KPK Govt. Ready To Participate

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is preparing fully to participate in the ongoing Dubai Expo2022, in the United Arab Emirates, to bring to light the major projects of the KPK government especially in the field of tourism, for Instance, Establishment Of Integrated Tourism Zones In KPK, and other fields like industry, agriculture, and economic uplift of the province. The step is being taken to attract foreign investment especially for the ongoing development projects in construction, tourism, and industry. A meeting in this connection was held with the chief minister Mahmood Khan in the chair in which the heads of all the concerned departments were present. It was informed that 192 countries including Pakistan are participating in Dubai Expo and the govt of KP will participate in the expo in January next year.

The meeting was informed that According to the schedule of the Dubai Expo the KP pavilion will be set up on January 1, 2022, in which different products of the KP province will be displayed. The special economic zones to be set up in the province will be exhibited 6th in particular in the Expo. The focus of the KP government will be on the Special Economic Zones on the Investment Conference on 6th and 7th January 2022, Special Economic Zones Investment Conference on Rashkai Special Economic Zone, Ghazi Economic Zone, Chitral Economic Zone, and the proposed Draban Special Economic Zone will be held.

The mines and minerals conference will be held on the 10th and 11th of January. On January 14 the conference on tourism and culture will be held in which the steps taken by the KPK Provincial Government to promote tourism and culture as per the vision of the prime Minister the establishment of integrated tourism zones will be highlighted and possible investment in this regard would be sought. On the 18th and 19th of January projects like a crude oil refinery and power projects will be focused on. Similarly, the conferences on Motorways, Billion Tree Tsunami project, food, and agriculture will conclude the  KP presentation at the Dubai Expo on the 29th and 30th of January 2022.
