Prime Minister while talking about the importance of Karachi for Pakistan said that there is a city like Karachi in every country that runs the country like London runs the UK, Newyork to America, and Paris to France. He continued, "So just like this if we are helping Karachi to prosper, it means that we are helping Pakistan.” He said, “ Building a transportation system is the first step towards building a modern city,". The Premier had also cited the examples of the most modern cities of the world because of modern management. The premier highlighted, "Until and unless we focus on the management of Karachi, it cannot turn into a modern city, Karachi, according to my estimate, does not even generate $30 million in revenue.
