Future of Tourism in Pakistan is Much Brighter MD PTDC Said

Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation MD Aftab ur Rehman Rana has said that the future of tourism in Pakistan is much Brighter and that in the next two years there would a lot of development in the tourism sector in Pakistan. He said that the government has been paying great attention to the promotion of the sector and in the next few years a lot of many projects would be completed in the country which would attract tourism not only from the length and breadth of the country but also from the international market. According to a press release issued by the tourism department, Pakistan has a very rich natural beauty, landscape, history, and culture that would enable the country to promote tourism as a full-fledged industry.

The MD PTDC said that the British Backpackers Society (BBS) has ranked Pakistan as the world’s top adventure travel destination. He said that there is an ideal environment to attract foreign tourists to the country. He said for foreigners we have hiking opportunities, rock climbing, and mountaineering opportunities in a beautiful landscape and lush green environment. Over the past few years the government of Pakistan especially the KP Government has started special projects for the promotion of tourism. Construction of integrated Tourism Zones, Development of road infrastructure and motorways in the Swat Valley, Naran Kaghan, Lower and Upper Dir, and a neat and clean environment has been ensured in the main tourist spots of the country.

Pakistan is a country blessed with the world’s top best tourist destinations. Recently, a well-known international magazine placed Pakistan on top of the best destinations to explore. The natural beauty in the length and width are second to none anywhere in the world. Blessed with four seasons, it has a diversity of climate and landscape throughout the country. There are deserts, mountains, and lush green planes surrounded by a mighty range of mountains that are among the highest in the world. For instance, northern areas of Pakistan paint a magical beauty of nature and one feels to be at absolute peace being in the area. Over the past few years, the facilities in Pakistan are also improving at a rapid pace.
