KP Tourism Projects Attract Massive Response In Dubai Expo

Dubai: The Tourism Projects Of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have received a much better and positive response in the ongoing “tourism week” in Dubai International Expo 2022. On Tuesday the investors have shown a great interest in the tourism sector of the province and the investors evinced keen interest to invest in projects in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Sector At The Dubai Expo on Tuesday. As per the latest updates, four letters of intent for investment have been signed and a number of investors both Dubai-based and international investors have shown positive responses to invest in the Tourism Sector of KP. Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has also been working round the clock for making tourism a success in the province. He is also attending the mega-conference on investment opportunities to be started on 16 January to highlight the potential of tourism and investment opportunities in the KP province.

According to the detailed information the KP is displaying Tourist spots, cultural heritage, Historic Gandhara Civilization, Kalash culture, and sites for adventures in the northern and southern part of the province. The Secretary of Sports and Tourism KP Sultan Tarin, while speaking on the occasion said that the province has a great opportunity and potential for investment in the tourism sector. The DG tourism and Culture KP, DG Pakistan Trade Development Authority Rizwan Tariq, The CEO KP Board of Investment and Trade Hassan Daud, and others were also present on the occasion.

The Secretary of Tourism and Supports briefed the participants in detail about the ongoing projects especially the Integrated Tourism Zones that have received a tremendous response from Investors. The Secretary said that the investors would be provided with incentives through one window facility which is fully operational in the Tourism Sector Of KPK and land will also be provided to them to encourage public-private partnership in the field of tourism. The participants were also briefed on the potential and opportunities in the energy sector in KP as per vision 2030 of the KP government. The CEO of KPK's BOI Hassan Daud informed the participants about the potential in the energy sector of KP. He thanked the Dubai-based Pakistani Investors and International Investors for their overwhelming response. Secretary Energy and Power Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah said, “Government of Khyber Pakh­tunkhwa is following ambitious agenda of developing its energy sector through investment from public, private and public-private partnership in clean and renewable resources of hydropower, solar and wind. “ All the projects were appreciated by the investors and they expressed their interest in the projects.
