Islamabad: In the Punjab province's cities of Rawalpindi and Bahawalpur, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) have teamed to improve solid waste management and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). According to the details, the collaboration intends to help 1.5 million city dwellers with an emphasis on inclusive, resilient, and sustainable services and infrastructure. The agreement emphasises both parties' shared commitment to enhancing access to necessary services and lowering climate change vulnerability, especially for women and children. Building on earlier cooperative efforts made during the COVID-19 pandemic, this partnership suggests possible future cooperation in Pakistan.
