Islamabad: Ishaq Dar, the finance minister, has ordered the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to expedite development projects for overseas Pakistanis.
The meeting's main topic was CDA's projects for Pakistanis living abroad, and the finance minister ordered that balloting be held on the Nilore Heights-1 project immediately, the project which was created specifically for overseas Pakistanis. He directed the concerned authorities to conduct the balloting before the 8th of next month. The committee was briefed on the plan to provide residential and commercial plots at open auction to Pakistanis living abroad.

In order to further increase foreign exchange reserves, he also instructed that incentives be granted to investors who pay the price in US dollars for the sale of commercial plots. Additionally, by the middle of May, a plan for the auction of plots in the C-14 and C-16 sectors should be completed.
