Islamabad: According to a news source on November 2, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) promised to award built-up properties (BUPs) for developed properties in Sector C-16 within two months. The sources claim that following a fruitful meeting between CDA officials and local landowners under the direction of former MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan, the decision was made. As part of this programme, the CDA will provide BUPs to qualified residents in Sector C-16 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Within the following two months, these awards are expected to be announced. Residents have agreed not to obstruct the sector's continued development efforts as part of the agreement. To ensure a seamless process, the CDA will measure and survey the houses as soon as possible.
In addition, it was declared during the meeting that those impacted by the authority's land acquisition will receive plots in return for their developed properties in Sectors C-16 or C-15. Following the agreement's provisions, the CDA has promised to issue allotment letters for a 5-marla plot inside a 300-square-foot area within four months.
