According to the information, historical disputes and delays in land acquisitions led to the decision to abandon the distribution of plots instead of monetary compensation. CDA Chairman Anwarul Haq confirmed this change in policy in an interview. He emphasized that the new strategy would only be used for future acquisitions and that it would be presented to the board for final approval.
The development further specifies that the civic organization would make sure that, for the sake of efficiency and openness, both land and BuP awards are announced simultaneously. This will also avert the usual delay in the acquisition of land.
