CDA Finalizes Possession of I-15 Sector

Islamabad: As per the latest news on the official website of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the possession of plots in the I-15 sector is ready. Complete detail has also been shown on the official website of the CDA. The total number of plots ready for possession is 2039 out of which 1650 plots of size 5 marla and 374 plots of 7 marla have been finalized. For further details, one may visit the official website www.cda.gov.pk. Earlier, the civic body had announced on its official website that the allottees of the sector I-15 would soon get possession as the development work in the three subsectors of I-15 is in full swing. The CDA spokesman had said that after a long-lasting wait of some 15 years, some 5000 allottees would be given possession. The spokesman said that the CDA management is paying special attention to the capital city's development. The spokesman said that the development work in the sectors I-15/1, I-15/4, and I-15/3 is rapidly moving ahead and soon the plot owners will be able to construct their houses over there.

It is worth mentioning here that the development work in sectors I-15/1, I-15/3, and I-15/4 including drainage system, sewerage network, construction of streets, street lights, culverts, and other residential facilities will be completed soon. The construction of the houses on I-15 would also help cater to the ever-increasing demand for housing in the capital city. The construction work in the three sub-sectors is in progress whereas the work on the fourth sub-sector I-15/2 is still pending. The civic body is of the view that the construction work on the I-15/2 will also be started soon.

It is also relevant to mention here that the CDA allotment letter of the two sectors was awarded in 2005 but due to some reason or other the development of the sectors could not be carried out and the development work remained pending. As many as 5000 allottees were affected by this inordinate delay. Exchairman CDA, Amir Ali Ahmed after assuming the charge started to take interest in developing the stalled sectors of the CDA and advised the concerned officials to ensure speedy and timely completion of the development process. Earlier in a meeting presided over by the chairman the civic agency decided to grant possession letters to the affectees of the sector urgently.
