Lahore: To encourage the activation of its enforcement wing and guarantee visible performance in the field, Director General (DG) Tahir Farooq of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) paid a visit to the Traffic Engineering and Planning Agency (TEPA) headquarters.

TEPA Chief Engineer Iqrar Hussain gave a summary of TEPA's operations and performance, based on the details. As instructed by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz, TEPA has already finished patching 539 potholes throughout the city.
LDA DG Farooq underlined that in order to increase TEPA's efficacy even more, an action plan is required. He gave TEPA instructions. Only authorised signboards should be permitted on city roadways; illegal ones should be taken down. Encroachments in parking spots must be eliminated, and strict enforcement of parking regulations by approved maps was emphasised.

DG Farooq also emphasised the significance of notifying offenders and taking appropriate measures after they fail to comply. He directed the Chief Engineer of TEPA to provide a plan of action for the future, which included a survey on U-turns at city entrances and exits. It was also encouraged to work with traffic police to enhance traffic flow at strategic locations.
