Islamabad: According to the latest updates on January 3, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is planning to take stern action against non-filers, including blocking their phones and SIM cards.

Based on the information provided, the FBR is ready to impose stringent sanctions on non-filers. First, mobile SIM cards and phones will be blocked. By January 15, the FBR is expected to release an Income Tax General order.
Furthermore, the FBR is devising a plan to cut off gas and power connections for non-filers. Thus far, the FBR has encountered difficulties in acquiring comprehensive information about the electrical connections of people who have not yet submitted their taxes.
