Fuel Prices Hiked by Rs9.66 Per  Liter  w.e.f  April 1

Islamabad: Due to a spike in global crude prices, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs9.66 a litre for the next 15 days. On the other hand, high-speed diesel (HSD) is now reduced by  Rs3.32  per litre.

The Finance Division announced on Sunday that the increased fuel prices will take effect on April 1."The price of Petrol (Motor Gasoline) has increased in the international market during the last fortnight, while the price of HSD has marginally declined," the announcement stated.

The statement went on to explain that the price changes are consistent with the government's practice of transferring the variances of the international market to domestic consumers.
