Islamabad: An innovative Expo Centre is set to be built in Gulberg Greens as per the agreement between the Intelligence Bureau Employees Cooperative Housing Society (IBECHS) and the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). This deal was reached during an ICCI delegation's visit to the Gulberg Greens headquarters, led by its President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari.

The partnership seeks to advance social and cultural activities, encourage exports, and aid in national development. In his speech, the ICCI President stressed that the Chamber is willing to work with IBECHS on collaborative projects that will bring in foreign investment. He emphasised that although Islamabad is an important hub for trade, politics, the legislature, and diplomacy, it now lacks a well-known
He claimed that the collaboration between ICCI and Gulberg Greens would close this disparity and be a big step in the direction of economic improvement.
Pakistan's exports would increase if the projected Expo Centre was built as a permanent location to display its exportable goods. Drawing comparisons with other nations such as China and Turkey, where expos have boosted trade and tourism, he voiced hope for comparable results for Pakistan via the Expo Centre. Tariq Mehmood, President of IBECHS, assured the ICCI delegation that Gulberg Greens will work together for the country's growth, especially in the business sector.
