Mengal regretted the inconvenience the work brought to the general public. Mengal noted that shortly, traveling via Barakahu would significantly cut the journey time for individuals going to Kashmir, Murree, or Galiyat Region. He added that the project's challenging part had been effectively finished. The completion of the Islamabad Expressway project is expected to significantly ease traffic for commuters going from PWD to T Chowk and those going to Pakistan's northern regions.
The project is expected to increase economic activity in the area and enhance the general standard of living for Islamabad inhabitants. The announcement of the project's completion is expected to have a positive effect on the local real estate market as well. Many real estate specialists expect a spike in demand for residences near the expressway.
