Despite the fact that the payments had been received more than 35 years ago, the CDA has not yet delivered these plots to their original owners. The construction work in Sector E-12 began in 2020, according to CDA officials, but the encroachment mafia has illegally occupied the majority of the land in the sector and is preventing development work.

After the detailed discussions, the committee directed the civic body to complete the development work of Sector E-12 urgently and hand over the plots to the just owners. The meeting was also attended by various Members of the Nationa Assembly and senior officers of the concerned ministries and departments.
