Islamabad: According to a news source on November 28, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar signed a multibillion-dollar Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates to strengthen bilateral strategic partnership.

According to the news outlet, the two presidents signed several memorandums of understanding recognising the long-standing familial ties between the UAE and Pakistan. Investment cooperation is covered by these agreements, which are overseen by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), in areas like energy, port operations projects, wastewater treatment, food security, logistics, minerals, and banking & financial services.
The PM also reaffirmed Pakistan's unwavering support for the UAE's COP 28 Presidency. He underlined its importance and the chance it offers for significant advancement in important areas, especially in reducing the impact of climate change.
