PM Shahbaz Sharif Inaugurates Much Needed Bhara Kahu Bypass Project

ISLAMABAD: The Bhara Kahu Bypass Project was formally inaugurated on Thursday by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The project began in October 2022, and NLC completed it at a cost of Rs6.25 billion in nine months. It has eliminated a significant bottleneck for the millions of commuters heading to Muree, Kashmir, and Galliyat. The project's launch speaker, the prime minister, declared that his sole goal had been serving the people throughout his entire political career and in all his encounters.

The prime minister described the opening of the Bahara Kahu bypass as a moment of satisfaction and said the project will make it easier for tourists from Islamabad, Punjab, and KP to visit AJK and Galyat. The prime minister claimed he had set a realistic three-month deadline for finishing the project which was very much achievable if there had been no challenges.

Shehbaz continued by saying that the Bhara Kahu Bypass was likewise Nawaz Sharif's idea, whose government had been overthrown by the "worst conspiracy" and whose projects had been hampered. He continued by saying that the environmentally friendly electric buses were on their way to Islamabad for the convenience of the city's citizens.

The minister continued by saying that all of the Islamabad Metro routes have been connected to the residential and airport areas for the convenience of the general public. Noorul Amin Mengal, the CDA Chairman, stated that the CDA was investing Rs 20 billion in the improvement of Islamabad's rural areas. In the rural belt, he claimed, 55 parks and Sunday bazaars were being built.
