Additionally, the MP&TE Directorate has been tasked with taking strict action against unlicensed construction. The RDA has made the tough decision to take action against illegal land conversion, subdivision, and marketing of such unlawful projects. The authorities have been directed to monitor on a regular basis how the housing societies are operating on the outskirts of the city.

Without a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the civic body, it is unlawful to begin housing schemes, apartment projects, commercial buildings, and other developments, according to the RDA.
