Sindh Govt. Working on GIS Mapping to Repair Roads, Tax Property

Karachi: According to news reported in the top newspaper on October 25, Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Local Government Department Manzoor Ali Sheikh revealed that the Sindh Government is actively engaged in implementing Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping as part of its property tax collection and road repair initiatives.

During a meeting with a delegation from the World Bank (WB), which was called to evaluate the advancement of several projects financed by the international financial institution, the ACS provided this update.

The ACS expressed its gratitude to the World Bank during the conference for its crucial support of the development initiatives carried out in the province. He emphasized the crucial part the World Bank plays in carrying out ongoing development projects in Karachi. The ACS emphasized that the top priority of the govt. would be to ensure merit and transparency in the ongoing development projects.
