The amount will be invested in real estate with the intention of giving middle-class families throughout the nation access to affordable housing. The SHE venture has already invested USD 50 million in the real estate and housing market, according to AMC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jawad Aslam, and this further investment will strengthen the construction sector even more. Aslam made this statement at an event. He said that the investment's goal is to unite major stakeholders in the housing market and work together to develop Environment-Friendly projects across Pakistan.
In order to address the housing shortage, it was also emphasized that the country's housing finance must expand from 0.2% of GDP to a double-digit level. Participants at the event also agreed that more money and effort would be needed if the housing crisis were to be avoided at the current rate. The attendees encouraged the government to aid the housing sector in overcoming the difficulties.
