To resolve the ongoing water supply problems, a permanent water supply line from Shah Allah Ditta Reservoir will be made available to the aforementioned sectors. As part of the project, FGEHA will construct a 2-kilometer portion of the water line from the reservoir, which will be a part of the 14-kilometer-long pipeline network that has already been built. According to the FGEHA spokesperson, the project will take a year to complete and will be done in order of priority. Once completed, the project will contribute to providing both sectors with 2.5 million gallons of water per day (MGD), in addition to the 1 MGD currently supplied by Khanpur Dam.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) had already finished the previous project, but a 2-kilometer part was left unfinished, which took longer than expected time to complete. It is significant to mention that FGEHA developed Sectors G-13 and G-14 and is responsible for building the essential infrastructure in the said sectors but the basic facility of water could not be provided for so many years. The lack of water has resulted in less construction and development activity in the area.
