Islamabad: According to a news story published on March 26, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad has reconstituted an Inspection Committee to ensure openness and legality in housing developments.
Reassembling the committee to confirm the physical characteristics of housing schemes was decided upon during a meeting of the CDA Board presided over by the member responsible for planning and development.

This decision illustrates the need for careful examination of these kinds of plans in the capital. The CDA Member Engineering serves as the chair of the Inspection Committee, which is made up of five members from several CDA departments, including Town Planning, Building Control, Finance, and Land Survey.
The urgency of the procedure is underscored by the committee's directive to complete physical verifications of housing designs within a month. This action would to ensure efficiency, transparency and clarity in the operation of the housing schemes.
