LAHORE: The interim chief minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, presided over a meeting in his office to examine the progress of major construction projects in Lahore, stressing the need for the timely completion of the projects the chief minister advised members in the meeting to start new tasks quickly.
He warned the participant that any delays would not be tolerated with regard to the timely completion of the projects. The CM also emphasized the necessity for thoughtful alternative traffic arrangements to reduce disruption to residents throughout the construction phase.

The development of numerous projects, including the elevated motorway, the underpass at the Nawaz Sharif interchange, the Cavalry signal-free route, and the CBD project, was reviewed during the meeting.
The Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA) was also given a directive by the Chief Minister to speed up the planting and landscaping work at the airport. He also emphasized the expansion of the Mall Road greenbelt. The provincial metropolis will have plants at junctions and along the runway of the airport.
Azfar Ali Nasir, the provincial minister for housing, the chief secretary, commissioner Lahore, DG LDA, DG PHA, and representatives from NESPAK & FWO were present at the meeting.
