The installation of poles, lighting, and lane markings are among the finishing touches being worked on, according to Muhammad Asad, project director for LDA. He stated that the underpass was scheduled to open to traffic on August 1 and that the service lanes might not be finished in time. Initially, only the underpass will be open to traffic.
The Samanabad Underpass was among the city's development projects that Commissioner Muhammad Ali Randhawa examined the other day. The LDA engineering team informed him that the underground system was complete.
Randhawa coordinated the installation of lighting poles and lane markings all around the underpass while also taking a test drive on the underpass road.
