Digital POA for Overseas Pakistanis Introduced by NADRA

Islamabad:  The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has recently launched a speedy and secure digital tool for obtaining Power of Attorney (POA). According to information on the organization's Facebook page, NADRA's progressive initiative dispenses with the necessity for travellers to Pakistani embassies by enabling those living abroad to issue Power of Attorney to reliable individuals within the nation. The digital POA service is easily accessible to Pakistanis living abroad by visiting the official NADRA website at www.poa.nadra.gov.pk. For those looking to assign legal authority without the inconvenience of embassy visits, our intuitive online tool simplifies the application procedure and offers a smooth experience.

  • Complete the online form with the necessary information.
  • Use the fingerprint form to upload the biometric data.
  • Finish paying the cost online.
  • Interview the designated counsellor via video.
  • Give your final approval by email before issuing the digital power of attorney.

Interested parties can contact NADRA via their Call Centre at +92-51-111786100, or 1777 for mobile customers, for further information. Comprehensive information is also accessible via the specialised ID portal, https://id.nadra.gov.pk, and the official NADRA website, www.nadra.gov.pk.

Additionally, the PAK-ID mobile application—which can be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store—is promoted for usage by NADRA. Using this software, people may process their ID documents from the comfort of their own homes.
