RAWALPINDI: Dr Jamal Nasir, the interim Punjab minister for primary and secondary healthcare, announced that funds have been received for the Maternal and Child Hospital and the Nullah Leh Expressway. Therefore, work on these important projects will soon get started. He made the announcement While assessing the drainage conditions at Gawalmandi and Arya Mohalla following recent rains.

The inspection also included participation from the managing director of the Water and Sanitation Agency and other relevant officials. Dr Nasir emphasised the need for caution throughout the review because it might rain heavily.
The minister also emphasised ongoing legal efforts against those responsible for illegal encroachment and rubbish disposal close to Nullah Leh. He also disclosed that drones were being used to track the flow of water in the area.
