LDA Instructed to Develop Online Bidding System Urgently

Lahore: According to news reported last week, Commissioner and Director General (DG) of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa gave instructions on Tuesday for the creation of an online bidding mechanism for the auctioning of residential and commercial properties. According to LDA DG Randhawa, the authority will provide special support to investors connected to the private sector by expediting the provision of relevant documentation related to commercial properties in an effort to enhance the "Ease of Doing Business."

In a related development, LDA has also laid forth the documentation requirements for processing requests for possession orders. It is pertinent to mention here that over the past few years the LDA has taken several steps to ensure the ease of doing business. The authority wants to provide all facilities to the masses at their doorstep. The authority especially intends to utilize the online bidding system for the auction of residential and commercial properties.
