LAHORE: On Sunday, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the director general of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), paid a visit to the city's current development projects to examine their state of progress and make recommendations for their prompt completion. The Samanabad Underpass and the Lahore Bridge were the two projects that the commissioner examined. Project managers gave the commissioner thorough updates on the status of each project throughout the visit. The commissioner was informed that the Multan Road asphalting project above the Samanabad Underpass was already in progress.

It was anticipated that the road will be finished in a day or two, allowing Multan Road to resume regular traffic flow. On the underpass Samanabad side, the facing walls were already finished, while on the Gulshan Ravi side, work on the underpass barrel and face walls was progressing quickly. Even though it rained a lot, the construction work quickly restarted and proceeded at a faster speed day and night.
The commissioner emphasized the significance of making use of all tools at hand to get the subway up and running as quickly as possible. The Lahore Bridge project was discussed next, and the commissioner was notified that the construction was complete. However, the focus was now on the project's aesthetic features, such as lane marking and lighting. to the public. The commissioner directed the authorities to expedite the work on the two projects and open them to the public as early as possible.
