Lahore: According to a news source on January 8, the Punjab government has ordered the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to start construction on three multibillion-rupee infrastructure development projects in Lahore.
These works include the renovation of Babu Sabu Interchange, the multi-level grade separation at Shahdra, and the underpass and flyover constructions at Akbar Chowk.

According to the details, the province government desires that these projects' development work begin this month (January). According to reports, the money required for these projects has already been moved to LDA's account.
According to information, the LDA has released bids for each of the three projects, with the Shahdra multi-level grade separation project's bid to be awarded on January 13. In the final week of January, development work on the final two projects is anticipated to start.
It is significant to note that the administration has started a number of initiatives aimed at resolving the city's traffic issues. It recently started working on the refurbishment project for the Kalma Chowk Underpass.
