At a meeting, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the director general of the LDA and the commissioner for Lahore, emphasized the necessity of the LDA creating a mobile application that would make it easier for individuals to submit applications online. The meeting was informed that a sizable number of people submit applications to get completion certificates, building plans, and no-objection certificates, and to remove encroachments at the LDA's one-window cell every day. It was decided to create a thorough method to simplify these procedures.
During the meeting, the commissioner gave staff members further instructions to name a permanent focal point for the Housing Directorate at a one-window cell. To make the identification procedure easier, Randhawa recommended the officials use the E-Khidmat App and other information technology services.
