According to a March 16 advertisement in the national media, the Overseas Pakistani Foundation (OPF) Town has opened a limited number of residential plots for Pakistanis living abroad on a first-come, first-served basis. The aforementioned project is situated on Raiwind Road, next to OPF Greens, and a short drive from Ring Road. The advertisement refers to it as a "Golden Opportunity" for Pakistanis living abroad to purchase 3.5-, 5-, 6-, and 8-marla home plots in the OPF Town, Lahore, on 8 quarterly installments, with a down payment of 35% of the total cost.

As per details, the Potential investors must meet the following requirements: Individuals who are not OPF members must submit a bank draught for PKR 2,000 and a properly filled out membership application in order to register with OPF and be qualified to apply for the plots.
