PDWP Approves Development Schemes worth Rs22billion

The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), with a budget of Rs. 22.011 billion, has approved 7 development initiatives from diverse sectors. Sources claim that Sohail Anwar, the secretary of the P&D Board, presided over the approval at the eighth PDWP meeting of the current fiscal year. • The construction of an Rs. 10.842 billion controlled access corridor facility connecting Lahore's Niazi Interchange and Babu Sabu Interchange.
• The Tehsil Alipur Lot-2 Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP), with a budget of Rs. 2.280 billion.
• The Tehsil Kahror Pakka-based Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP), with a cost estimate of Rs. 1.454 billion.
• Cluster North Tehsil Kallar Kahar Lot-2, Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase, Rs. 3.518 billion budget.
• Cluster North Tehsil Noorpur Thal Lot-3, Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP) Pilot Phase, costing Rs. 1.323.092 billion.
• Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (PRSWSSP): Cluster Central-II Pakpattan, Package-5, 5 Nos. Revenue Villages: (Chak 93-D, Chak 15-SP, Chak 16-SP, Chak 23-SP, Chak 2-KB), at a budget of Rs. 1.270 billion.
• The construction of a road in the district of MB Din costs Rs. 1.322 billion.

All P&D Board members, provincial secretaries, and other senior representatives from pertinent provincial departments were present at the meeting.
