Islamabad: On Friday, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister, gave the Capital Development Authority (CDA) instructions to concentrate particularly on building vertical structures to house the greatest number of people possible, rather than using priceless agricultural land to assign plots to employees.

On February 9, 2024, in Islamabad, the caretaker prime minister, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, presided over a review meeting to discuss the status of Pakistan's investment agreements with friendly nations.
In addition to presiding over the federal cabinet meeting, he gave instructions on how to draft relevant policies. In light of the Islamabad High Court's ruling, the Federal Cabinet was provided with the policy about distributing plots to CDA employees.
Nonetheless, this judgement ensures that every category A, firm registered with the SBP has an equal chance to participate in the NADRA assessment. The meeting was informed that equitable possibilities for auditing NADRA should be extended to all category A Firms registered with the SBP to improve the audit's effectiveness, transparency, and compliance with international standards.
