Earlier last year a deligation of the villagers met the Chairman CDA Aamir Ali Ahmed and complained about the sheer negligence on the part of the CDA because of which the sector remained shelved for the last three decades. The Chairman regretted the lethargic attitude of the concerned officials and assured the allottees that soon the new tender for the development work of the sector would be issued and the development work would restart at the earliest. The CDA had a plan to start the development work in the sector at the start of 2022 as per the commitment of the chairman with the allottees but the work faces delay due to some technical issues, but now the CDA is all set to start the proceedings in this connection from tomorrow.
One of the major reasons behind this inordinate delay in the development of the I-12 sector is that the civic agency has been using this sector as a dumping site. The Chairman CDA listened to the allottees in detail and assured them of every possible support to reduce their woes. While discussing the issue of the dumping of garbage in this sector, which is reported to have been the main cause of the delayed development work in the sector, the chairman CDA ordered the concerned official to remove the dump from the sector as early as possible.
